History
Jor-El was a Kryptonian scientist who discovered too late that his planet Krypton is foredoomed by a long-buried, malignant legacy of Krypton's ancient wars. Though realizing that there is no hope in saving his world, he had time to save his unborn son Kal-El by sending him to Earth where he chanced upon the Native American people in the Great Plains of America, as he saw them as a good people over the technological whites who threaten the said aborigines. As Krypton is about to be destroyed, Jor-El and his wife Lara Lor-Van made a last recording to their son and telling him to be true to his destiny.
