Jupiter is the father of the Gods of Rome.

He was created by the Gods of Olympus to further their sphere of influence, but gained independence. Jupiter was an avatar of Zeus.

To stop the Godwave, Jupiter merged with Zeus, Odin and Highfather. In the aftermath, he was merged back into Zeus' body. The heavily wounded Zeus was brought back to Olympus. During his healing, Jove briefly gained the upper hand over the weakened Zeus, but the Greek god regained control soon after.[1]
