Justice League America #69 is an issue of the series Justice League America (Volume 1) with a cover date of December, 1992.
Synopsis for "Down for the Count"
The Justice League International responds to a call from a smashed big-rig outside of Bucyrus, Ohio, and follows the trail of senseless destruction left by the beast responsible. Once the mysterious creature sights Blue Beetle's Bug, it throws a tree trunk through it, forcing the JLI to land and engage the beast in battle. It systematically takes the team apart, finishing by punching Booster Gold into the stratosphere.
In the meantime, Superman is interviewed on television by Cat Grant, cutting it short as he learns the network is broadcasting an emergency report on the Ohio battle. Booster Gold is caught in mid-air by Superman, and declares "It's like Doomsday is here", thus providing the monster with a name.
