Synopsis for "The Beasts Who Thought Like Men"

When a plague of insanity, carried on the special paper used in the manufacture of money, strikes America, a STAR scientist invents a special credit card, containing a personalized sonic code, to replace normal currency, while the Justice League heroes help contain rampaging plague victims. But the sonic cards create an even worse plague, which cause humans to exhibit animal behavior and animals to gain human intelligence. Superman, Flash, Hawkman, and Aquaman fall victim to an attack on New York City by intelligent bees, who have the Queen Bee, the JLA's former foe, in their mental thrall. At the same time, Elongated Man and Atom investigate Prof. Dunkirk, creator of the credits cards.
