Synopsis for "Saving Face!"

The immortal Professor No plots his revenge on the Justice League members, whom he holds responsible for his disfigurement, by systematically killing their young recruits. In the Secret Sanctuary, the members of the team re-group following their defeat by Brimstone (in Legends #2), humbled and frustrated. J'onn J'onzz then disbands the Justice League, in line with the President's order to halt super-hero activity. Because of his feelings of inadequacy, Vibe loses his temper once again, and is the only one not on speaking terms with the others as they leave. In the South Bronx, the pensive Vibe meets a young boy drawing a picture of Superman, and is disappointed that the boy, another Latino, has never even heard of Vibe. Just then, one of Ivo's robots attacks, and while Paco man-ages to bring himself out of his depression long enough to save the boy and seemingly deactivate the robot, its hands remain animated long enough to strangle him. The robot affixes a Professor No mask to Vibe's corpse and walks away.
