Synopsis for "The Slave Ship of Space!"
As the various Justice League of America members are out stopping various Earthly disasters, their JLA contact devices suddenly break down prompting them all to return to their headquarters and find out what's going on. There they are all immobilized by the space tyrant known as Kanjar-Ro, who has also immobilized the entire planet. In order to free their world, the Justice League are forced into helping Kanjar-Ro in defeating his enemies: Hyathis, Kromm and Sayyar.
Using Batman and Snapper Carr as bait to trap Superman in Kryptonite gas, Kanjar Ro has Aquaman, Martain Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern aboard his space boat to stop his enemies. Martain Manhunter captures Kromm, while Aquaman and Wonder Woman are used to capture Hyathis, and finally Green Lantern and Flash are used to capture Sayyar.
With his opponents captured, Kanjar Ro refuses to free the Justice League unless they promise not to attack him. However, the League members have recorded all of Ro's foes saying his name (having all three say his name at once would free the Justice League from Kanjar Ro's power) and manage to free themselves, capture Kanjar Ro, and save Superman before the Kryptonite gas kills him. After the battle has ended the group banish Kanjar Ro and his opponents on a meteor planet, Green Lantern using his power ring to make it impossible for them to escape.
