Trapping them in an energy bubble, Green Lantern forces them to explain what happened. When they learn that Johnny Thunder had had the criminals gain the super-powers of the Justice League. The group tries to use their powers to try and change history back to the way it was, but not even Dr. Fates magic or Green Lantern's power ring can counteract the Thunderbolt's magic.

As the battle rages on, Johnny Thunder is batted around and eventually gets fed up with losing constantly and orders the Thunderbolt to change everything back to normal.
