Synopsis for "Mighty One"

Kamandi and Ben Boxer find a tribe of apes who explain that an ancient hero whom they call Mighty One constructed the new continent between Europe and America to cap volcanoes, and they believe Ben may be the Mighty One returned.

• This issue is divided into four chapters:

• Part I: Mighty One
• Part II: The Legend
• Part III: Deceive or Die
• Part IV: Save the Super-Suit

• Kamandi appears next in Brave and the Bold #120.

• Supeman once traveled to Earth-AD's past wherein he lost his costume for a brief time. Although he eventually returned to retrieve it (in Superman #295}, his presence left a permanent legacy upon the planet.

Trivia

• An image of Superman is found carved in a bas-relief.

• Superman is actually Kamandi's great ancestor from an alternate timeline.
