History

Kandor was the capital city of the planet, Krypton, up until it was shrunk and stolen by Brainiac. Kandor housed over seven million Kryptonians.[1] Superman later recovered the miniaturized city, which was kept in an oversized bottle, and kept it in his Fortress of Solitude. He made frequent visits to the city, visiting surviving relatives and operating as the masked hero Flamebird.

Eventually, Kal-El found a suitable world and a means of safely enlarging the city. Kandor was re-enlarged on it's new home of Rokyn.
