History

Kent Nelson, as Doctor Fate, was a charter member of the Justice Society, precursor to the Justice League. Nelson was abducted by Abra Kadabra, an agent of Klarion the Witch Boy. The Team came to rescue him, but Klarion struck him down during the ensuing battle. His spirit went on to possess the Helmet of Fate to keep Nabu company.
