History

The Khund race are predisposed to aggression. On Khundia, it is not uncommon for citizens to challenge one another to physical combat, likely to the death, for the slightest offense or insult. While allied with the Dominators, the Khunds razed Melbourne, Australia, seeking to establish a beachhead in overrunning Earth during the events of "Invasion!". After Earth's superheroes routed this Dominion-led invasion, the humbled Khunds returned to their homeworld. For a thousand years, the Khunds remained confined to their own space. However, they reappear later during the 31st Century.^[1]

• "Lobo" reputes that his name literally means "he who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it" in a Khundian dialect.
