Origin with the JSA

King Chimera is the son of Golden Age adventurer King "the King" Standish and a woman who was an adept for a secret order who are taught to bend light and sound to create an illusion. The two had some form of a relationship.

During young adulthood, King Chimera came to join the Justice Society, for some reason not yet explained. He has been roomed with All-American Kid, with whom he shows every sign of not getting along. All-American Kid turned out to be a super villain who framed King Chimera for an attack on Mr. Terrific, but was eventually found out.

JSA All-Stars

When the JSA split, King joined the All-Stars team.
