History
During the "Infinite Crisis", the Joker attempted to join the Royal Flush Gang, but upon being rejected, he proceeded to slaughter the entire group. After torturing the King, the Joker asked him why he had been rejected for membership, to which the King replied, "Because the Joker's too wild". Finding little humor in the King's snide jest, the Joker finished him off by burning his face with an electrically charged joy-buzzer.
