History

Kyle Knight is the infant son of Jack Knight and his one-time lover the second Mist. Kyle was named after his late uncle, who briefly battled Jack and lost his life doing so. Kyle's paternal grandfather is the original Starman, Ted Knight. His maternal grandfather is the Ted's arch-nemesis, the original Mist. When Kyle was born, his father Jack retired his super-hero identity and moved away from their home in Opal City to raise his son.
