History

A scientist on Venus of a far away future struggling to solve his world`s environmental problems, Laevar Bolto invented a transmution ray that would allow him to transform on object into another – but accidentally stumbled into the path of his own device and found himself imbued with its abilities. When he discovered that the Venusians saw his invention and his abilities as an evil perversion, he left for earth – only to find himself once again mistreated and mistusted. Infuriated, he took on the name Cosmic King and joined the Legion of Super Villains (which included amongst Mordru, Time Trapper, Saturn Queen and Lighning Lord at his time).

Over the years his intelligent but slightly unhinged mind has hatched many schemes -including travlling back in time and raising Batman and Superman as his sons in order to use them to conquer the world.
