HistoryEdit

Laura Lang (1959-1989) was the wife of Lewis Lang and mother of Lana Lang. Lana was conceived out of wedlock when Laura had an affair with Henry Small. Lewis and Laura later reconciled their differences, and Lana grew up believing that Lewis was her natural father. In October of 1989, Laura and Lewis were on one of the main streets of Smallville when a meteor shower violently plagued the town. A meteor came down from the sky and struck the Langs killing them instantly. Three-year-old Lana Lang was left in the care of the Aunt Nell. As an adult, Lana frequently visited her parents grave. She would speak to them at length as if her parents were still alive.
