History
He was the foe of the original Green Lantern as well as Wildcat. He was first known as Crusher Crock, a frustrated athlete who turns to a life of crime. He was a member of different incarnations of the Injustice Society and he teams up with (and later marries) the Golden Age villainess Huntress. Later they have a child named Artemis Crock who became the third Tigress. In his later years he spent time behind bars but at least on one occasion was broken out of prison by his daughter - then a member of Injustice Unlimited.
Sportsmaster Clones
After the Council lost control of the Manhunter, organizational leader Doctor Anatol Mykros used his expertise in cloning technology to clone the Sportsmaster. The Clones served as the Council's elite assassins for many years. In recent years they came into conflict with the Justice Society of America. They initially squared off against Queen Hippolyta during her tenure as Wonder Woman as well as her colleague Black Canary.[1] They later faced a larger contingent when the JSA raided a Council-operated missile silo. Black Canary, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl and the Star-Spangled Kid, accompanied by Mykros' daughter Nemesis, destroyed the Sportsmaster cloning banks and disarmed the Council's nuclear warhead.[2]
