League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Timeline

From DC Database

The following is a chronology of events pertaining to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen titles are published by America's Best Comics, an imprint of WildStorm Productions (owned by DC Comics). The adventures of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen take place in a separate continuity from that of other WildStorm titles as well as the mainstream DC Universe. Nearly all of the characters featured in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen titles are based on characters from novels published during the 19th and early 20th century, most of whom are now in the public domain. Series creators Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill treat the original literary works as authoritative and except where noted, are considered part of canonical League history. For the sake of chronological context, this timeline may contain information that was not explicitly revealed in the graphic novels, but was supplied by the original source material.
