Synopsis for "Different Paths, Different Dooms"
Chameleon Boy tries to recover his powers on Durla, with the help of his father, R. J. Brande, but must face a council of enemies and a rejuvenating device to do so.

- This issue includes a "Legion Outpost Extra" featuring an index of key issues relating to the Legion of Super-Heroes.
- Chameleon Boy lost his powers after an encounter with a Daxamite on Takron-Galtos in Legion of Super-Heroes #294.
- Karate Kid appears on a video monitor only in this issue. He invites Timber Wolf and Blok to attend his wedding to Princess Projectra. The wedding takes place in Legion of Super-Heroes Annual #2.
