Synopsis for "Meet the... LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES"
Shadow Lass, Karate Kid and Ultra Boy are in Sydney, where the climate now is arctic due to earlier magnetic storms. Ultra Boy explains the loss of his loss of power control to Karate Kid, who asks Ultra Boy to spar with him. Karate Kid can easily avoid Ultra Boy's attacks, and Karate Kid is soon thrown away of an angry Ultra Boy, who underestimates the power of control. Karate Kid demonstrates the power of control while he finds a weak spot in the ice mass, hits, and Sydney's Opera House is uncovered.
Meanwhile, in the Legion Headquarters, Star Boy asks about the Legion's budget, and Cosmic Boy introduces him to Princess Projectra of Orando, the most wealthy planet in the known universe. While Cosmic Boy and Star Boy are in her quarters, she gets lots of scrying calls from her father, King Voxv, who talks about the alarming weather. Princess Projectra begins wondering if she's a real legionnaire, when she hears that Cosmic Boy just came there to ask her to write a check. King Voxv calls again, and this time, it's about invaders who begins tearing Orando part. Cosmic Boy summons all legionnaires within the range of his flight ring signal to make a transmatter jump to Orando. Brainiac 5 fails to open the portal because of an electromagnetic tempest, which the only way to circumvent is to generate enough energy to push through (which is why Cosmic Boy tells Sun Boy to meet him in Brainy's lab). However, they fail to go there in time, as Orando's population is extinguished.
Later, Brainiac 5 tries to uncover the identity of a man predicted by Dream Girl to have a critical tie to the upcoming war. Suddenly, the man appears in person in the lab, presents himslef as Lemnos, and explains his plans to Brainiac 5. Before Lemnos leaves, he wipes out Brainy's memories of their meeting.
