Tomahawk and Dan Hunter are recruited by the American Revolutionaries to help fight the British. Inventor David Bushnell himself and a revolutionary Major ask Tomahawk and Dan Hunter to use the Turtle to rescue the kidnapped Choctaw, the powerful chieftain of the Chippewa nation, thereby preventing the calamity of the Chippewa allegiance with the British Redcoats.
