He has fought with the red genie (or Thunderbolt) named Yz. They were feuding genie princes. Lkz is controlled by speaking the phrase So Cûl (pronounced "so cool").

At one point, Lkz took control of Triumph. Lkz has fought heroes such as JSA member Jay Garrick, the first Flash.

Captain Marvel aided Jakeem Williams in merging the two prince genies into a new purple genie called Ylzkz.
