Lori Lemaris is a mermaid from the city of Tritonis. During her time spent on land posing as a human at Metropolis University, she met and fell in love with Superman. They shared a relationship until Lori ended it because they were from two different worlds, and she went back to the ocean. Instead she married a merman and surgeon named Ronal. She has been a member of the Aquaman Family and the Justice League of Atlantis. Lori Lemaris was created by Bill Finger and Wayne Boring, first appearing in Superman #129. (1959)
