M'Ten was one of the Green Lanterns assigned by the Guardians to patrol Frontier Space.

History

As one of the Frontier Lanterns, M'Ten's existence was a secret from the Green Lantern Corps. He was one of a handful of Frontier Lanterns until being murdered by Red Lantern Zilius Zox.

18 months after M'Ten's death, his ring returned to Oa in the middle of a meeting between the Guardians of the Universe and Green Lantern Hal Jordan, where it was recognized by fellow Lantern Salakk. Upon learning of the Frontier Lanterns and spurred by the implication that more are being murdered in Frontier Space, Hal and Kilowog would go on to steal a prototype interceptor spacecraft to investigate the disappearances.
