History:

Mala is a recognized member of Amazon society on Earth-One; A counterpart to Mala likewise exists on Earth-Two. Mala has occasionally doubled for Wonder Woman when the situation has called for it. In one particular alternate reality, it was actually Mala who had triumphed in the Bullets and Bracelets contest and became Wonder Woman instead of Princess Diana.

Notes:

• This version of Mala (Earth-One), including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the Multiverse in the 1985-86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series and is now considered apocryphal. * In Post-Crisis continuity, Mala is an analog for the warrior of Bana-Mighdall known as Artemis.
