Synopsis for "Secret Identities"

Needing a "tech-guy" for her new gig, Manhunter looks up former tech-guy to the villains, Dylan Battles. Dylan is in witness protection and against the idea until his wife walks out on him. Back at work, Kate learns that hero Firestorm has been killed by the Shadow-Thief. Overall Synopsis: Kate Spencer approaches Dylan Battles at his home. She reminds Dylan that she was the one who negotiated the terms of his stay in LA with the witness protection program. Dylan has worked with many criminals including Two-Face, Killer Frost and Black Manta. Kate tells Dylan that she needs his technologically inclined ingenuity and reveals that she is the Manhunter who killed Copperhead. Dylan at first, is intrigued by the offer but turns Kate down because he thinks this is a form of entrapment or a setup which would violate the terms of his protection. Dylan's wife was observing the conversation between Kate and Dylan from afar. Dylan reluctantly tells Kate that he will think about helping her even though Kate threatens him that if he turns down her offer then she will notify every super villain at large of Dylan's whereabouts. Dylan's wife suspects that he has been cheating on her and thinks Kate is one of his affairs. Dylan's wife takes their baby and leaves Dylan. Dylan figures he has nothing left to lose and tells Kate that he will accept her offer to enhance the Manhunter weaponry. Kate returns to the office and overhears that the Shadow-Thief has just recently murdered Firestorm.
