History

Marguerite Blakeney was the wife Scarlet Pimpernel Percy Blakeney and a member of the League of the Scarlet Pimpernel as well as the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Notes

• Marguerite Blakeney is a fictional character created by playwright Baroness Emma Magdalena Rosalia Maria Josefa Barbara Orczy. Blakeney was first featured in the 1905 novel The Scarlet Pimpernel. It is fair to assume that the comic book version of Blakeney shares the same history as that of her literary counterpart. To date, no material has been provided which directly challenges the original source material.
