Marvin Harris was, with his sister Wendy, a caretaker at the Titans Tower.
History
At age sixteen, Marvin and his sister, Wendy, graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Marvin and his sister managed to attain jobs as caretakers of Titans Tower. They spent six months re-building Cyborg. After the Teen Titans were back in action they found Wonderdog on one of their adventures. They brought him to the tower and he lived with Wendy and Marvin until one fateful night where Wonderdog showed his true form and transformed into a monster and attacked the Titans, including and specifically Marvin and Wendy. Wendy made it out with lacerations to her upper body and spinal damage which resulted in her paralyzation. Marvin however died as a result of his injuries.
Trivia
- Marvin and his twin sister Wendy are based on the characters of Marvin White and Wendy Harris who first appeared on the Super Friends animated TV show. The Marvin and Wendy of Super Friends were not related to each other.
- As the original characters were not siblings (nor children of Noah Kuttler), there has been some confusion over what his last name is.
- Teen Titans Annual (Volume 3) #2009 gave his sister the his surname White
- Batgirl (Volume 3) #1 used "Wendy Harris" instead and Blackest Night: Titans #1 was the first to explicitly give Marvin a last name, his sister's name Harris.
