Synopsis for Bulletman: "Return of the Unholy Three, Part 1"
Twiddley Fairchild and his henchmen break jail, Brutus easily twisting their jail bars out of the way. During their escape, Fairchild's shot, and has the three swear to carry on his quest for vengeance, this time against Bulletman. Jim and Susan visit a wax museum that has new exhibits in likeness of their fearsome foes, the Unholy Three. These mannequins quickly turn out to be the real thing, when they grab Susan and the giant Brutus attacks Jim as Bulletman, but flees when the hero starts getting the best of him. A note arrives on Sgt. Kent's desk telling him to let Bulletman know they've got Susan, something Kent despairs of being able to do since no-one knows how to contact Bulletman. He inadvertently does so by bemoaning his situation to Jim, who dons his gravity helmet and after flying back and forth looking for a clue, thinks to check Fairchild's hideout in the old castle. He finds Susan tied to a table and about to be impaled by a descending pendulum. Nosey the dwarf pulls a lever the blows up the whole room. Bulletman's saved by his helmet's power, but what's become of Susan?

Synopsis for Zoro, the Mystery Man: "Zanelli, Duce of Racketeers"
While Zoro's enjoying a night out at his country club, crime boss Zanelli tries to rob the patrons, but is seen off by the mystery man, who promptly resumes the night's entertainment as if nothing ever interrupted it! The criminals try to get revenge by running Zoro off the road, but he gets the upper hand, and knocks Zanelli off a cliff to his doom.

Notes
- Buck Jones: Credit line says "Written and Acted by Buck Jones."
- Big Savage County is in Arizona, on the border with Mexico.
- Some of the language used by Marshall Jones, and others, is downright rude. Comic book stories from 1941 may depict some ethnic and racial prejudices that were once commonplace in American society. Such depictions were wrong then and are wrong today. While not representing the DC Comics view of today's society, these stories are being indexed and summarized as they were originally created, because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed.
- This issue's Bulletman story continues into next issue.
- Bulletman gets head-konked with a club by a giant, but that never works on him.
- Captain Venture at first needs a Hydro-People Helmet to survive in their kingdom, but he wears no helmet when fighting the octopus-looking Water Monster.
- Until this issue, Captain Venture was the only series in this anthology to run as a continued story.
- Zoro's cheetah, Cheeta, has a seat at his country club.
- Zoro kills one more thug with his sword-cane, punches another off a cliff, and Cheeta also kills one more.
