Wildstorm
Maxwell Cash was the son of Jason Winston Cash and Sylvia Cash, and the younger brother of Cole Cash, the WildC.A.T.s member Grifter.
The two boys lost their father when Max was a toddler, and their mother eventually remarried mobster Sam Del Gracci. Cole did not like him, and a rift arose between the two brothers because Sam did accept their new criminal stepfather.
Max joined the army in an effort to emulate his brother, but his stepfather's connections kept him away from action. He became an expert on firearms and a ladies man. His brother, however, considered him nothing but a cheap imitation, a Grifter Jr., a moniker Max has had trouble getting rid of.
Max Cash worked as a weapons expert and undercover cop (utilizing his family connections) and also served in the WildC.A.T.s as a replacement for Grifter, under the name Condition Red.[1]
