History
Mer-Boy is a young merman from Pre-Crisis Earth-One continuity. As a teenager, he harbored a romantic interest in the Amazon adventurer, Diana. When Mer-Boy grew up, he took upon the name Mer-Man and reunited with Diana who was now operating under the guise of Wonder Woman.Powers and Abilities

Strength level
Above Average: Mer-Boy possessed superior upper body strength several time greater than that of a normal human. As Mer-Man, Mer-Boy possessed the strength level equivilant to that of the average Atlantean.
Notes
- This version of Ronno (Earth-One), including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the Multiverse in the 1985-86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series and is now considered apocryphal. * The character of Mer-Boy was created by Robert Kanigher.
- Mer-Boy is not to be confused with either Aqualad, Aquaboy or Lagoon Boy.
- As a teenager, Mer-Boy's true name is Ronno. As an adult, he takes the name Manno. The purpose behind this name change has never been explained.
- Mer-Boy is a rival with Bird-Boy, both of whom pined for the affections of the teenage Wonder Woman.
