History

Merlin is an adult, spotted leopard and the loyal pet of the enigmatic Baron Winters. According to Winters, Merlin was given to him as a gift by the wizard Merlin from which he was named. Merlin wears a golden, spiked collar and is fiercely loyal to Baron Winters. He is always present at his side, and always obeys his commands.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Claws: Merlin has clawed nails on each of his feet. His claws are no stronger or sharper than those of the average, adult male leopard, but even this is enough to rend human flesh if provoked.

Notes

• Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985-86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
