To be fair, I've looked over Glassonion0's contributions, and while yes, we here at the DC Database consider the edits you've made to be in bad taste, other wikis consider them to actually be good edits. Or at the most, they let users get away with making edits like that.
To put a lighter twist on what Tupka was trying to emphasize to you, we have a so much more you could do here other than linking things or changing words. I made similar edits to pages when I first joined, and I more or less got the same message from Tupka. Though I didn't do it to the same degree as you are. I know from personal experience, that making edits that are acceptable on one wiki, on another wiki thinking they may be acceptable isn't intentionally spam editing and badge chasing, but that's what it comes off as to any other user looking at your edits.
Maybe look over our editing guidelines, and see what needs to be done around here that interests you. I'm the perfect example of a really bad editor turned into a good one, so if you need help with anything just let me know! :)
Yeah that's considered spam editing. And you can get in trouble for that anywhere. Hop on to chat sometime man, I can help you make a list of things you want to do, and explain our rules and editing guidelines in a better way to you. :)
While it is a good thing to wikify (add links) link you did here, there are a few things to remember:
Try not to link to disambiguation pages. If you are working on a specific version of a character - the DCAU version of Brainiac in this case - the links should point to other DCAU pages.
Do not over link. Linking to both Kal-El and Superman in the History is redundant. Pick only one. Generally we use the first occurrence of the character.
Do not wikify common terms such as "drone". Most times we will not have, and never will have, a page that provides an definition of that type of term. "Drone" is a case where we do have a valid link, but it redirects to a character that is totally unrelated to the DCAU.
Sorry, but I didn't think it would be that big a deal, since on the Etrigan page, there's a link to Etrigan, like it goes in a circle. On the Quotes page, there's numerous links back to him. Is there a difference that I can't see?
