    Hi there,

    I recently bought the knightfall series which are named brokan bat, who rules the night, knightsend in the purpose of having a better understanding of the batman movie coming to the theaters. In wikipedia it says that there should be another part called knightquest in this saga. however, the books i bought are named part 1-2-3. did i buy the wrong books? will there be a continuity problem?

      It appears as though they've decided that KnightQuest isn't part of the Saga. This may be because it features a different Batman, and it's his own story. The Jean-Paul Valley Batman in KnightQuest is just a story about him and his deteriorating relationship with Robin and his increasingly strong connection to the weird cult that he was raised in.

      It won't be important for the movie (I doubt any of it will be important, apart from the fact that the movie is slightly inspired by it), but in terms of context for why it is a good idea for Batman to come back in Knightsend and bring a stop to Jean-Paul's activities, you may want to read it. But Bane is pretty much gone by the end of Who Rules the Night.

    Hey Robert, just adding [[Tomahawk]] to the Tomahawk issues isn't all that helpful. Could you at least at it as {{a|[[Thomas Haukins (New Earth)|Tomahawk]]}} from now on? Also, it'd be really helpful if you added {{Missing Characters}} at the bottom so we know those pages still need other appearances.

    Thank you for uploading new content to the DC Database project!

    We have lots of images in our database, 88,970 in fact, and in order to keep them organized we use a system of naming, categories and licensing added to each.

    1. Please review our Naming Conventions for Images. Images are categorized by name, so a descriptive name rather than a string of numbers is important.
      1. As a guide, look what other images in a character's gallery are called, and continue with the same name and number. If you upload a first image of a character, use "[Name] [Universe] 001". Ignore the Universe designation if it is a New Earth character.
      2. Issue covers should be given at least the title of the series, the volume and the number. A name similar to the issue is preferred: "Title Vol 1 1". Textless covers should be called "Title Vol 1 1 Textless". Files that do not indicate the issue number will be deleted.
    2. Add the Image Template to the images you upload. This is mandatory. Fill it in as detailed here, or below.
    3. Selecting the proper license is vital to properly maintaining our images. Please choose the license which best describes the image you are uploading. The most commonly used are 'Comic Single Panel' and 'Comic Cover', respectively.
    4. Other fields that should be filled in: Issue, Subject1, Artist. Add Source if you've taken it from a different site. If you've taken it from a different site and don't know the issue, DO NOT UPLOAD IT.

    In addition, please take a moment to review our policies page and more specifically our image policy.

    Questions can be directed to any of our admins, or asked on our forums.

    Hey Robert, I wanted to talk to you about listing yourself as an active admin. Generally we keep that page around so regular users know where they can ask for help with any problems. It's not that you aren't a good editor, but being active as an administrator implies that you're engaged in the community. In the four years I've been working here, with the past two as senior admin, I think we've interacted maybe three times at the most. Would you mind if we had you listed as semi-active instead?

      I may not interact with other admins on a daily basis but i interact with regular users all the time & I edit & keep an eye on the database every day. I have actually been involved with the database since day one I guess the main reason I don't spend more time talking to other admins is because I spend a lot of time on many other wikis. However I am as active as most of the admins here as far as helping users & fixing problems & editing. Also some of the admins take the admin job very seriously & I don't want to upset anyone.

    Do you have a plan on how far you're going to index Pep Comics? We're in the process of discussing just how far we want to go. At a certain point, the Red Circle characters quit appearing and Archie takes over. I'd hold off creating more for now unless you have a reason that we can discuss. Thanks.
