Synopsis for "No Title"

Midnighter, as Lucas Trent, is register through a security clearance at Harmony's town center. He is recognize as a previous inhabitant of Harmony and direct a place to stay at Elaine's Bed and Breakfast. As Midnighter is drive away to Elaine's, a woman wearing the colorful markings of the United States flag on her face observes from afar.

Somewhere, a facility operated by people who are wearing similar facial markings of the United States flag receive information of Midnighter's stay through his security clearance. Two of these people, identified as Bellwethers sees this as a kind of assessment to their influence over Harmony and orders it's own field operators, consisting of post-humans, to stand down.

The next morning, Midnighter and along with Brian Dorsett have breakfast at the Miss America diner where they meet waitress Amanda, Brian's wife. Brian fill in much on Midnighter' history in Harmony. Midnighter then focus his attention on a patron who is wearing the facial coloring of the US flag. Brian immediately warns him not to stare him, identifying him as a Bellwether, and act normal. The Bellwether approaches and greet them which goes without incident.

Midnighter later studies about his previous life at the local library. He notice that the library lacks any diverse books and conclude to himself that Harmony doesn't has any written records beyond the last few months and that the library has been to reduced to variations on a theme, and that the town fell under faceless intimidation. He then leave the building which he then find the town under attack by a female S.P.B. Midnighter quickly calls for a shift-door and changes back into his costume. He confronts the S.P.B. which she states to him that she has made "first claim" on Harmony. Midnighter engages her in a furious fight before soldiers arrive on the scene, declaring Harmony as an Anthem protectorate, and subduing the S.P.B. with tasers. Midnighter escape the scene to outside of the town, which he realize that the people behind this were not surprised to find him in Harmony.
