Mister Mxyzptlk was a Fifth Dimensional imp who annoyed the Super Friends.
History
Mister Mxyzptlk first annoyed the Super Friends when he was trying to make a movie featuring the team called "The Rise and Fall of the Superfriends". Though his constant target is Superman, he does not discriminate when it comes to including the Super Friends as the butt of his practical (and nearly dangerous) jokes. He does get irritated when the Super Friends get the better of him by getting him to say his name backwards, undoing all the damage his magical tricks have caused, vowing that he will get the better of the Super Friends someday when he returns.

- Power Loss: Getting him to say his name backwards causes him to return to the Fifth Dimension, where he will remain for 90 days.

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Super Friends and is an adaptation of Mister Mxyztplk. The original character was created by Jerry Siegel and Ira Yarbrough and first appeared in Superman #30.
- Mister Mxyzptlk was voiced by Frank Welker.
- This version of Mxyzptlk has his name pronounced "mix-el-plik". Saying his name backwards sounds like "klip-el-skim".
