History

Mxyzptlk first annoyed the Superfriends when he was trying to make a movie featuring the team called "The Rise and Fall of the Superfriends". Though his constant target is Superman, he doesn't discriminate when it comes to including the Super Friends as the butt of his practical (and nearly dangerous) jokes. He does get irritated when the Super Friends get the better of him by getting him to say his name backwards, undoing all the damage his magical tricks have caused, vowing that he will get the better of the Super Friends someday when he returns.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

Incredible magical abilities. However, getting him to say his name backwards causes him to return to the Fifth Dimension, where he will remain for 90 days.

Notes

• This version of Mxyzptlk has his name pronounced mix-el-plik. Saying his name backwards sounds like klip-el-skim.
