The Monitor's Satellite, later also known as the House of Heroes, is a spherical orbital station used by the cosmic entity known as the Monitor.

History

Crisis on Infinite Earths

Along with his assistant, Harbinger, he was able to monitor events taking place on Earth of alternate realities. The Monitor also used the station to coordinate the sale of advanced weaponry to various criminal enterprises. The motivations behind this have never been fully revealed. During the Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Monitor used the station to coordinate the efforts of many of Earth's heroes in a campaign to save the Multiverse from being destroyed by the Anti-Monitor. The Anti-Monitor took control of Harbinger and used her to assassinate the Monitor inside of his private chamber aboard the satellite.

In recent times, a collective race of Monitors have taken to using a similar station as a de facto police station, wherein they analyze discrepancies taking place on the fifty-two replicated realities created in the wake of the Infinite Crisis event.

Dark Crisis

The satellite was later repurposed as the House of Heroes, the headquarters of Justice League Incarnate.[1]

After Superjudge sent the Thunderer to gather help from the rest of the universes, the House of Heroes was filled with champions throughout the entire Multiverse, awakening the satellite's A.I., Harbinger, in the process.[2]

After the Justice League defeated Barbatos and raised the Earth back from the Dark Multiverse, the heroes from various universes of the Multiverse started reconstructing for future generations of heroes from the new universes.
