Synopsis for "Final Warning!"

Ambassador Ramshed hides in an “Interspan Transmitting Station” on the planet Beldar, waiting for the aliens on duty to leave. When they do, Ramshed transmits his story to earth hoping he can finish before he is caught and killed! He and other earth emissaries landed on Beldar and were greeted warmly. After sending a shipload of Beldarans to earth, the emissaries discovered their hosts were, in fact, cruel and brutal! Ramshed escaped his capture and hid out in the Interspan Transmitting Station – where he warned earth to shoot down the income Beldaran ship. He is killed just as his warning is transmitted. Unfortunately, he could not afford the transmission fee and sent the warning postage due. The operators at Tyrone Receiving Station, complaining about “hot shot ambassadors” not paying their bills “just like the rest of us”, cancels the transmission.

Synopsis for "Viewpoints"

A robot watches a time-tele-transport broadcast of a caveman and his family fighting off a giant bat. The robot is unaware of any such bipedal life forms on this planet (since the Neutron Wars eliminated them) and is shocked to see himself in the broadcast and watches himself seemingly perish at the hands of the caveman! He will not allow himself to be destroyed by this crude extinct species and tries to destroy the time-tele-transport! Unfortunately, the robot instead activates it and he finds himself in the dark, dim past. The humans rescue the robot from a trap and sees their kindness to each other. Was he mistaken? Something triggers lost memory circuits – these are Men! The inventors! His creator! The bat attacks and flies off with the caveman’s son. The robot does nothing for fear it will cause his own destruction as he viewed in his own time. In his guilt for causing them to lost their son, the robot takes the caveman and his wife to his own time where they can begin the race of man again…

Synopsis for "The Singling"

Earth’s last defense fails and those who are left await the surrender terms of the alien fleet. The mothership lands and the exalted leader comes forth. A long human assassin has the leader in his scope but is captured and killed. The guard who found and killed the assassin later enters a human home and takes off his disguise – he is Colonel Davis and he weeps while holding his two awards: one for outstanding service in the First Interplanetary Diplomatic Corp and the other The Guaranteed Life Award from the aliens “For Opening the Gates of Earth.”
