Nada Parabat lies hidden in the snowy Himalayan mountains off of the Tibetan plateau. Though not a lot is known about this Shangri-La like retreat, what is known that it is a city of peace and contemplation that is watched over by the goddess Rama Kushna. It is unknown exactly how old the city is, a fact that is harder to ascertain given that time moves differently in Nanda Parabat; months and years can pass inside the city and yet only a day may have gone by in the outside world. Besides the monks of Nada Parabat, within its walls have also resided those who seek to find peace, and it is not unknown to find heroes of yesteryear meditating within the city's confines.
- This appears to be part of the plot in "Arrow". Malcolm Merlyn tells his son that after his wife's death, he adventured into Nanda Parbat and had become "enlightened". It is implied that he learned archery and self-defense here.
