Nature Boy was a short-lived adventure comic that continued the numbering sequence from Danny Blaze beginning with issue #3. Following issue #5, the series changed it's title again to Li'l Rascal Twins. While only having minimal connection to the greater DC Universe, Nature Boy #3 was significant as it was the last canonical appearance of the original Golden Age Blue Beetle (not to be confused with the re-tooled Dan Garrett that appeared in Blue Beetle (Volume 2, Charlton) #1). Luminaries from this title include Dick Giordano, Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel and Blue Beetle artist Charles Nicholas.
