The Nejire were an offshoot of the storytelling farming tribe known as Lazer Monks.
History
They were created when an alien entity infected the crystals the Monks used as a power source, corrupting their mindset. The Nejire being chaotic, angry, violent and unstable, while the Monks became obsessed with sacrifice and nobility.
The alien fed off the emotions caused by the feud between the tribes, until human scientist and explorer Cave Carson arrived on their planet. Studying the crystals, he discovered the creature, and, with the aid of the Lazer Monk leader Zot and Nejire warlord Lord Gowt, he killed it, restoring the mental states of both the Monks and the Nejire.
