• This is the final Annual under the name The New Teen Titans. The 1984 Annual is published under the title Tales of the New Teen Titans.
• First appearance of Cheshire. Cheshire becomes a recurring adversary for the Teen Titans beginning with this issue. She appears next in Tales of the Teen Titans #51.
• First appearance of Adrian Chase as the Vigilante. Chase made his actual first appearance in New Teen Titans #23. He also appears in a flashback to events that took place in New Teen Titans #34. He appears next in Vigilante #1.
