News:Batman 3 underway

IESB.net is reporting, according to an "extremely reliable source", that the script for Batman 3, the sequel to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, is now underway in the script stages. Jonathan Nolan, David S. Goyer, and Christopher Nolan are reportedly already breaking the story for a third Bat film. Producer Charles Roven isn't confirming anything, but it seems like Batman does, in fact, have another adventure on the big screen.

UPDATE: February 28, 2009

The third Nolan Batman film is postponed indefintely due to Christopher Nolan helming "Inception" (a sci-fi actioner) for Warner Bros. Studios. He has recently sold his original screenplay of the movie to Warner Bros. and the plan is to start production this summer for a release in Summer 2010.
