Due to the success of the long-running series Smallville, CW has had a superhero themed show in their schedule for about a decade. The CW President Mark Pedowitz himself has made it clear that his network won't remain without a hero for long...and it now looks like he's made good on his word.

Enter Deadman, a DC Comics superhero who isn't quite as clean-cut as Superman. New decade, new (edgy) superhero? CW has also tapped Eric Kripke of Supernatural to develop the series. What do you think; could you see a live-action series based on Deadman? Who would you cast to be Boston Brand?
