Scream Queen is the lead singer of the band Scare Tactics. She comes from a long line of vampires from Markovia, and has suffered at the hands of the religious vampire slayers of the Graveyard Shift. Eventually, she became a member of the Suicide Squad.
There are other users of the name, including a Batman villain and a mirror universe version of Black Canary introduced in the Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths movie.
Scream Queen was created by Len Kaminski and Anthony Williams, first appearing in Showcase '96 #11 (1996).
