HistoryEdit

Origin

Hailing from the island nation of Amazonia, Nubia functions as Wonder Woman; a diplomat and guardian as well as a representative of her people. Often accompanying Superman and the Justice League, her adventures take her around the world in order to protect justice, liberty and equality.

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

Powers

• Divine Empowerment: The Amazons of Themyscira are a race of immortal warrior women that live on the mystically hidden island of Themyscira. They are given their gifts and blessings by five Olympian goddesses -- Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Hestia, and Aphrodite.
  • Superhuman Strength
  • Superhuman Durability
  • Superhuman Stamina
  • Superhuman Agility
  • Immortality: The Amazons granted Eternal life by the Olympian gods. but can still be killed if injured

Abilities

• Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): She was skilled in armed and unarmed combat and proficient with traditional Greek hand to hand weaponry such as sharpened edge shield sword and slings.
  • Swordsmanship: Trained Amazonian sword fighting.

• This Nubia is the first black specific Wonder Woman, though the Nubia of the Earth-One dimension claimed to be Wonder Woman (Wonder Woman (Vol 1) #204) over the Diana Prince of that reality though the Earth-One Nubia was never officially recognized in that role. ^{[citation needed]}

• The Nubia of the New Earth dimension was never considered to be Wonder Woman though is also an Amazon. ^{[citation needed]}
