The Oblivion Bar is a drinking establishment located in a pocket dimension. It has many portals scattered around the United States (and presumably outside it) that are only visible to those skilled at magic.

It serves as the home base of the Shadowpact.

History

Pre-Flashpoint

In 1969, Jim Rook stepped on a place named Oblivion Inc. in Manhattan. There he and his girlfriend Janet were transported to another realm known as Myrra. In Myrra, Jim received the Sword of Night and became Nightmaster and had several adventures before return to our world. Jim married Janet, but the relationship was short-lived. He returned to Oblivion Inc and turned the place into a bookstore. One day, in Oblivion Inc., he just discovered a door which he never had noticed before, that was a entrance to Oblivion Bar, the extradimensional bar run by Whomer Boz, an extradimensional being. Jim became bartender there and Whomer would periodically spend some days off (actually Whomer was sick; he was traveling to his home world in order to have medical assistance). One day, Whomer didn't come back. His mourning in the bar lasted seven days. Jim has run the place ever since.

Post-Flashpoint

Due to the Oblivion Bar being a common nexus for magicians, Nightmaster was murdered by the Batman who Laughs and his Dark Knights when they invaded. The Shadowpact and Bobo managed to flee for safety.

Arrowverse

On Earth-1, the Oblivion is a bar of Starling City where Sara Lance used to work before the crash of the Queen's Gambit.[1]
