History
Ohio is one of the states in the continental United States, bordering on the Great Lakes. The earliest Superman stories were set in Cleveland, not Metropolis. It is the birthplace of Barbara Gordon (formerly known as Batgirl, later known as Oracle).[citation needed] Franklin County, Ohio was the site of a fight between the Fourth Reich and JSA member Hawkman (Carter Hall). The Fourth Reich raided the Heywood Family Reunion in an effort to eradicate everyone related to the World War II hero, Commander Steel.[1]
