Synopsis for "A Time for Vengeance"

Sgt. Rock is sent on a solo mission behind enemy lines to destroy a shipment of powerful bombs. He joins up with the boys of Unit 3 and begins a series of diversionary hit-and-run attacks. With the Nazis on alert Rock turns himself over to the Nazi leader Colonel Kaltbludt. He is questioned and leads the Nazis away from the real target. Unit 3 destroys the train carrying the bombs, then they return to help free Sgt. Rock from enemy hands.

Synopsis for "Second-Best Means Dead"

In 1913, two would-be pilots, one German and one American, study under the great German pilot, Hans Hesse. They both excel and after WW I begins, each face off against one another in the skies over Germany. The American beats his German friend, but then he receives a notice from Hans who wishes to see his mettle for himself. They fight to a draw as both receive enough damage to nearly crash their planes, both saving themselves with their high level of skills as pilots however.
